In 2023, 868 new jobs were created at the enterprises of the fuel and energy complex of Uzbekistan

According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy, 868 new jobs were created at enterprises of the fuel and energy complex of Uzbekistan in 2023.

And this is against the background of digitalization, thanks to which effective management of the technical and technological process is achieved at a distance, without the human factor, and high-quality customer service.

For example, thanks to the digital technologies used in the Novo-Syrdarya TPP, only 120 employees perform the work of 2,000 employees of the Syrdarya TPP at the new station.

Last year, 274 new jobs were created in the oil and gas industry and 279 in the electric power industry.

As part of the launched investment projects, 120 and 195 jobs have been created at the Novo-Syrdarya thermal power plant, the press center said.
